The New Museum’s expansion at 231 Bowery added a second OMA-designed building, nearly doubling the institution’s footprint to 120,000 sq ft. Integral Steel designed, detailed, fabricated, delivered, and installed all structural steel — including complex column pre-loading and existing building analysis to integrate the new structure with the original SANAA tower.
